Handmade with Love - Workshops & Covid-19

Safety First!

I know, I know, this stuff is long to read, but please take a moment to do so, so we can get to the fun part when we meet in person!

We are excited to welcome everyone to our Handmade with Love Adult Craft Workshops. We have introduced a few measures so that we comply with government guidelines to operate safely. We have carried out a risk assessment at venues to ensure we run at a reduced capacity. We follow enhanced cleaning, one-way systems, and hand sanitiser stations. The safety of our attendees and instructors remain of utmost importance to us, and we will follow guidance meticulously.

To ensure our workshops are safe and enjoyable, we have outlined some of the changes below and tried to answer any questions you may have. This is new ground for us, and we and our venues have worked hard to make sure everything is ready and in line with government guidelines.

We collect contact information about each ticket booked in line with our privacy policy. Your details will never be shared with any third parties or marketing companies. We require to hold a record of attendees for track & trace purposes.   In England, the government has requested that organisations collect only the lead party member’s name, telephone number, and date and time of arrival and departure. We may be required, and by booking a workshop you permit us, to share your contact details with NHS Test and Trace.

If we are required by any government guidance or restrictions to cancel a workshop, tickets may be exchanged for a different workshop date or refunded. If you are unable to attend your workshop due to displaying symptoms, self-isolating or having to isolate, you must inform us 24hrs before your workshop.
Email with your full contact details and reference number.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the Workshop is due to start.

When inside the venue, we expect all attendees, and instructors to respect social distancing and hygiene measures.

You must not attend the venue if you believe you may be infected with COVID-19; have experienced symptoms in the last 14 days; have been in close proximity to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last 14 days; or have been instructed to self-isolate.

Q: How will you maintain social distancing in the venue?
A: We have created one-way systems around the venue. We have reduced our attendee capacity and each seat is separated from any seat by at least 1 metre on all sides.

Q: Do I need to wear a face covering?
A: Since this is an indoor, face coverings are required. Instructors will be wearing face visors at all times.

Q: What additional safety measures are you taking?
A: We will follow government guidance at all times. Transactions will be cashless and paperless where possible. We will have hand sanitiser stations in place. All our re-usable equipment will be cleaned before and after each class. Please let us know if you require a copy of our risk assessment

Q: Are the toilets open?
A: The venue toilets will be open and social distancing is required in those spaces. Washing your hands thoroughly with soap is expected. Hand Sanitisers will be available inside the venue for use.

Q: Can I pay we with cash?
A: If possible, we ask that all payments are made by card. All workshop bookings are made through our online booking system at
